Nillumbik Shire Council Hazardous Tree Program – 2013-Present

Habitat Management Services are the preferred Zoologists/Ecologists for the Nillumbik Shire Council’s Hazardous Tree Program since 2013.

Nillumbik Council is one of the only Councils in Victoria that engages a Zoologist/Ecologist when managing roadside vegetation.

Victoria to South Australia ARTC ecological mapping – 2013-2014

Across five states ARTC manages and maintains an 8,500km rail network.

Habitat Management Services have a long-standing working relationship with ARTC across VIC, SA, and NSW where we have performed a multitude of services including flora and fauna assessments, reporting, environmental planning and approvals, environmental site auditing and GIS mapping.

FAUNA SPOTTER/SALVAGE AND TRANSLOCATION

Habitat Management Services conduct and an extensive amount of fauna management prior, during and upon the completion of a project.
We work in the early stages of a project to guide our client on fauna management requirements/obligations including equipment/resources required, engaging with tree removal specialists, requirements for providing alternative habitat, community engagement, budget requirements and timeframes for inspections and delivery, etc.

Raven-hall prison Environmental Auditing – 2018

Habitat Management Services conduct numerous environmental site audits throughout construction sites during various stages of the project life cycle.
Audits have been conducted within site compounds, in and around environmental areas of significance (eg; in an around waterways, areas of high conservation value/NO-GO ZONES).
